This policy statement tells you how we collect information from you and how we use it. With respect to the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information*, the Australian Political Exchange Council (the "APEC") follows the Guidelines for Federal and ACT Government World Wide Websites issued by the Australian Privacy Commissioner.
As a general rule, APEC does not collect Personal Information about you when you visit our site. You can generally visit our site without telling us who you are or revealing other Personal Information, unless you choose to provide such information to us. The information we receive depends on what you do when visiting our site.

APEC will only record your email address if you send us a message. It will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it and will not be added to a mailing list unless specifically requested.
If you are a former delegate to APEC, we will only record your email address if you provide it to us. Your email address will then be added to our records and will only be available to former delegates upon request.
If you do not wish to make your email address available to former delegates, please notify the Council Secretariat at auspol.exchange@finance.gov.au
We will expressly ask you for any other Personal Information and we will tell you how we intend to use that Personal Information if you choose to give it to us. If you wish to review and make any necessary corrections to your Personal Information, you can email us at auspol.exchange@finance.gov.au
